high school entrepreneurism symposium ~ s.a.m.m.a.credit card management ~ teach a child about business weekweb site design ~ entrepreneurship seminar ~ box socialfaculty appreciation credit cardts. the presentation consisted of misunderstandings regarding credit cards, the importance of not incurring credit card debt, how to choose a good card, fraud, and other useful credit card material.e members of the credit card management team felt it was important to inform other college students about the dangers associated with credit cards. the program was not discouraging the use of creditlly taking years to pay off, the team illustrated the effect that getting behind on your bill can have on your future financial well-being. an example of how long it would take to pay off a $1,000just $1,500 per year and how much money can be earned with compound interest. the presentation showed how compound interest could work against you in the form of credit card debt and for you in theipants and this year sife more than doubled that amount to 196 participants. we had a very positive response this year. sife plans to continue its credit card education next year. of the 196 students/post test scores showed an increase of 32% on credit card awareness. this site is best viewed with internet explorer 3.0 or higher.the information contained within this website is copyright students
